About Me
I am Sonja Hänninen, a 25-year-old graphic designer. I graduated spring 2010 from Lahti University for Applied Sciences as an engineer, with media technology & technical visualisation as my main field (both links in Finnish only). The subject of my thesis was "Imaging of network news reporting with Adobe Flash", and the Flash-based part of the thesis was contracted to Kauppalehti (a Finnish commerce oriented newspaper).
Hobbies
I love to draw, both digitally and traditionally. I also like to go to the gym, knit, read literature and play console games, such as Sly Cooper games or SingStar. I'd also like to go to see theatre plays of all sorts. I also have performed on the other side of the stage with Lahti amateur theatre for young people. I was with the group during the years 2005 to 2007.
The character
I am a nice person, of course. Usually I am shy at the beginning, but once you get to know me, there's no going back! If I'd have to describe myself with four words, those would be inspiring, inspired, persistent and crazy. Plus I am not afraid of work.
My future plans include widening my areas of expertise even further. In addition, I'm quite interested in Web 2.0 and other new web techniques, thus I wish to learn more about them.
